Professor Ma Ke Gives Speech on the Judicial Progresses Made by China in Recent Years at Oxford University

Professor Ma Ke, a visiting scholar from CASS Law Institute, gave a lecture at the College of Ecology of Oxford University at the invitation China at the invitation of Oxford China Club on March 29, 2019. Professor Ma Ke, who is an associate research fellow at CASS Law Institute, arrived at Oxford University on February 2, 2019 to carry out research under an innovation project of CASS Law Institute led by Professor Xiong Qiuhong. The main purpose of his visit is to examine the procedures of the Royal Criminal Justice Commission for the rectification of misjudged criminal cases.

 

In his lecture, entitled “Judicial Progresses Made by China from the Viewpoint of the Speech Given by the Vice President of the Supreme People’s Court of China at This Year’s Two Sessions”, Professor Ma introduced the achievements made by China in the discovery, rectification and prevention of misjudged criminal cases in recent years, thereby publicizing the judicial progresses achieved by China and conveying the spirit of the two sessions. After the lecture, Professor Ma also gave the audience an introduction to the important academic position of CASS Law Institute and the great contribution it has made to the construction of the rule of law in China.
