On March 19, 2019, Professor Kunihiko Yoshida from the Law School of Hokkaido University in Japan gave a lecture entitled “Recent Studies on the Issue of War Compensation to China after the WW II: the Intersection Between Civil Law and International Law (International Human Rights Law)“ at CASS Institute of International Law. The lecture was presided over by Dr. Zhang Peng, an assistant research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law. Professor Liu Huawen, a research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, served as a commentator at the lecture. The lecture was attended by over 30 experts, scholars and graduate students from CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law.
