Recently, a new book written by Professor You Shaohua, a research fellow at CASS Law Institute, entitled “Sentential Variorum on Yaodian and Xindian in Shangshu”, was published by China Social Sciences Press. The book, consisting of three volumes, is a part of the book series “Sentential Variorum on Shangshu (Book of History). A launching ceremony for the book was held in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province on October 13, 2018. The launching ceremony was followed by the seminar “Questioning Accepted Theories and Restating Legal History”, which was sponsored by Chinese Institute of Legal History and China Social Sciences Press, organized by Shiliang Law School of Changzhou University, and attended by over 40 scholars in the field of legal history.
