A Research Team Led by Professor Zhou Hanhua Attends a Colloquium at Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications

A research team led by Professor Zhou Hanhua, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute and Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Cyber and Information Law Research Committee of China Law Society, carried out investigation and attended a colloquium at Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications in the city of Chongqing on the afternoon of July 4, 2019.

At the colloquium, Professor Zhou spoke highly of the interdisciplinary orientation of the Cybersecurity and Information Law School of Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications and expressed his opinions on ways of constructing characteristic discipline, building research exchange platform, strengthening external exchange and cooperation, and enhancing students’ ability to carry out scientific research.

Dr. Zhou Hui, Vice Secretary-General of Cyber and Information Law Research Committee of China Law Society and an assistant research fellow at CASS Law Institute, introduced the development process, the institutional setup and operational method of the Research Committee. Professor Li Xia, an associate research fellow at CASS Law Institute, introduced the current situation of the rule of law in cyberspace and pointed out the great potential of development of the “network technology + law” mode.

The colloquium was an important measure taken by Cyber and Information Law Research Committee of China Law Society to strengthen the exchange with various research institutions and universities in the country.
